Sustainable wines
We work only with small vineyards, family-owned and managed, conscious of their responsibility toward the environment. Most are already organic or tending towards organic practices, all have a sustainable mind.
Like us, they are eager to contribute to lowering their carbon footprint and see the benefits of using baby barrels for the wine by the glass market.
All our wines are packaged at the wineries in eco-friendly baby* barrels exclusively for Provenance Wine.
Baby barrel
We use only 20-litre baby barrel which modern technology prevents the wine from coming into contact with oxygen.
No risk of corked wine, no risk of oxidation and loss of the last glass of wine, so no waste. No need to refrigerate the bottles, no need to use argon gas to protect the wine.
Once connected, each baby barrel guarantees the freshness of the wine for at least two months.
When emptied, the baby barrels are recyclable.
Best terroir
We source our deliciously, fresh, ready-to-drink wines from the best terroirs recognized by the French official label appellation d’origine contrôlée (AOC).
AOC is a highly valued designation for wines whose production stages are carried out according to a recognized know-how in a specific geographical area, which gives the wine its characteristics.
The notion of terroir is the basis of the concept of Appellations of Origin.
